Who we are
Halo is a one-of-a kind music and audio engineering facility. Home to Hamilton’s only world class mixing console, the legendary SSL4048(orig. 4064) from Doppler Studio, Atlanta. This Console alongside the Studer A80 tape machine, Pro Tools Ultimate, and a live room with a view are all situated in a vibe-centric space designed for creativity.
Halo Studio was designed and envisioned by Roman Marcone(Said the Whale, Daniel Lanois, Whitehorse, Big Wreck, etc) and Nick Blagona(Deep Purple, April Wine, Protest the Hero, Bee Gees), based from Nick's famous studio in the Laurentian Mountains, Le Studio, Morin Heights.
One of the most important aspects of any studio is the vibe and the tone. We have you covered.
Our custom designed 850sq foot live room was planned out with sound in mind. From the shape, size and materials chosen to create this space; whether large or small sounds, they will always come out in control and of the best quality.
It doesn't take long to get a great sound in our room.
With mobile room dividers and larger gobos, live off the floor bleed is a thing of the past.
The Control Room
We are proud to share with you our custom designed floating control room. The Hamilton's only true recording studio experience with an actual floating control room.
Unique and one of a kind, designed by Jean-Luc Louradour (ex. Le Studio, Resonance TJL). This room boasts a controlled frequency response from 20-20k. Modern Speakers, Vintage Speakers, High Precision Converters.
Your mixes will translate!
